Iceland, a small remote and proud nation just on the edge of the Arctic circle, happens to be one of the most picturesque locations in the world. Attracting  millions of photographers and travelers, all eager to capture the breathtaking wild Nordic landscapes.

Thundering waterfalls, raging glacial rivers, vast sand deserts, and simmering hot springs—Iceland has long attracted the more adventurous traveler.

Geologically a young island, situated at the junction of the North Atlantic and Arctic oceans and the North American and Eurasian continental plates. Its complex geographical history and position combined to create a unique and contrast-filled landscape full of volcanoes, geysers, glaciers and fjords.

The famed wild Icelandic weather welcomed me on arrival as the plane was struck by lightning only meters above the runway, driving wind and snow blasted as I disembarked knowing that my luggage was still in Dubai and I was only protection from the elements - shorts and a t-shirt!
