I print my photographs in my studio using an Epson SureColor P6000 24-inch printer with archival pigment inks. Making the prints myself allows me to oversee the photograph through to the finished print.
Paper
I use Canson Platine Fibre Rag or Canson Rag Photographique, choosing the paper to suit the photograph.
Colour and screen appearance
I work to a carefully controlled, colour-managed workflow to produce prints that faithfully reflect my intentions for each photograph.
The colours and brightness of a print may differ from what you see on your own screen, particularly if your monitor is not calibrated. A screen emits light, while a print reflects it, so some differences in appearance are natural.
Sizes and borders
Standard image sizes are 6 × 6, 10 × 10 and 22 × 22 inches. These measurements refer to the photograph itself. Each print includes an additional white border of at least one inch on all sides for mounting and framing.
Signatures and editions
Each print carries a printed signature on the front and a handwritten pencil signature on the reverse. Editions are limited to 50 prints in each standard size.
Custom sizes
If you would like a photograph in a different size, please get in touch to discuss your requirements. Custom sizes are priced individually, with a quotation provided for each job.
Care and handling
Your print will be carefully rolled and shipped in a protective tube. I recommend taking it directly to a professional framer, who will know how to unpack, flatten and mount it correctly.
Until then, keep the print in its tube in a dry place, away from heat, and handle it as little as possible. Avoid touching the printed surface or attempting to flatten it yourself.
Once framed, display your photograph away from direct sunlight and areas of high humidity to help preserve it for years to come.
